About Ms. Dalton
Cynthia Dalton, DNP, FNP-BC, began her medical career as a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA), driven by a passion for helping others in times of illness. Cynthia's teaching role at WSSU inspired her to earn a Master's degree as an Adult Nurse Educator in 2009, followed by a post-master's degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP). Over 21 years at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist, Cynthia has cared for trauma patients, served as a nurse educator, and worked as a house supervisor. Cynthia values respect, empathy, compassion, accountability, and open communication in her work. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her five grandchildren, coaching cheerleading, playing sports, and playing bass guitar at her local church.
